Water Spout Touches Down on Paradise Island

Shortly after 4 p.m today, the team at Bahamas Local watched as a waterspout formed on the eastern end of the Paradise Island. Behind the waterspout was a wall of rain along with some thunder and lightning. Being experienced is the outer bands of tropical storm Bret which is projected to move away from The Bahamas.

Atlantis official denies substance leaking into water is sewage

The tranquil waters off a beach on Paradise Island were tarnished this week by a foul smelling substance which concerned persons feared might have been raw sewage.

An Atlantis official said the substance is definitely not sewage, but according to one witness, it certainly smelled like it.

Water Corporation breaks ground for potable water in Cat Island
